The Flying Antelopes were shockingly knocked out of the nation's oldest football tournament following a narrow defeat to the Ogbomoso-based outfit on Tuesday
Enugu Rangers were eliminated from the Federation Cup following a narrow 2-1 defeat to Crown FC in the Round of 16 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on Tuesday.
Goals from substitute Bello Owello and Peter Micheal helped Fatai Osho's side overcome Tope Olusesu's equalizer for their topflight opponents.
Michael grabbed the vital lead for Crown FC in the 23rd minute to put the Nigeria National League side in the driving seat.
In the second half, Olusesu levelled up for Rangers before substitute Owello netted in the 80th minute to ensure Crown progressed to the last eight.
The defeat of the Flying Antelopes is the second they have now suffered against the Ogbomoso side following their 2014 loss at the same stage. 
The Nigeria Professional Football League side had knocked out Akure City FC 2-0 and ABS 1-0 in the rounds of 64 and 32 respectively, but have now been sent packing. 
Crown FC had overcome Sokoto United 3-1, survived Niger Tornadoes 5-4 on penalties in the Round of 64 and 32 respectively before upsetting Rangers.
